A final victory is an accumulation of many short-term encounters. To lightly dismiss a success because it does not usher in a
complete order of justice is to fail to comprehend the process of achieving full victory.

~Martin Luther King Jr.~
“Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God.”‭‭
Romans‬ ‭6:13‬

“But the man of God was angry with him. “You should have struck the ground five or six times!” he exclaimed. “Then you would have beaten Aram until it was entirely destroyed. Now you will be victorious only three times.” Then Elisha died and was buried.”

2 Kings‬ 13:19,20a

In 2 Kings 13:14-19 Elisha gave his final prophecy before he died. During this Prophets life he saw God do amazing miracles through his life and the life of his people. Before his mentor left him in a fiery chariot, he asked for a double portion of anointing on his life. If you read his story in 2 Kings you will see God granted his request and Elisha did twice as many miracles as his mentor, Elijah, did. Even as his bones where lying in a cave, Moabite raiders threw a dead body in the cave. When the body touched Elisha's bones the dead man revived and jumped to his feet.

What does actual Complete Victory bring? We don’t wake up the next day after shifting our thinking toward victory and POOF, every adverse thing will fall at our feet. Life doesn’t work that way. Every day brings its own challenges, disappointments, and problems. Some of those things took years to develop into MAJOR challenges, disappointments, and problems because we’ve aloud it to. If that’s true, then the opposite happens when we walk in victory over those things, giving us the freedom to be who God has made us to be.

The day you decide to stop the cycle of addiction, depression, disfunction, and despair, is a day you reverse those things and begin a cycle of hope, salvation, blessing, and courage that will continue with generations to come. My Dad grew up with an alcoholic father. One day, when he was young, he determined in his heart not to drink anything with alcohol. God honored that. Years later he met a young lady and started to go to church with her. He gave his life to Christ, they got married, and had two kids (which, one of them was me). The rest is history, right? They are still making history today through their children's children all because he determined to turn the cycle of addiction around to gain the freedom of abundant living.

Complete Victory is walking in Freedom everyday. Free from sin, despair, guilt, and disfunction. The challenges are still there, the temptations still come, and the world will continue to pull you down, BUT, since you determine in your heart to have Passion for the things of God and not this world, the Spirit walks with you. And where the Spirit is, There Is Freedom!
